Google is renewing the way it indexes, is your site prepared?
Friday, August 14, 2009 0:57Owing to a large majority of internet traffic now based on ‘click-throughs’, SEO aims at locating where the traffic lies, and creating a link in that location. As a matter of fact, we all depend on Google, like it or not!. Google is the mastermind in this market, and although other placements we find possess lots of value, Google still decides the rules.
The interesting part is that Google is changing its manner of indexing websites, making it possible that the stable ‘first-page’ position that your website currently holds might get altered. If Google changes the manner it indexes pages tomorrow, would your site be ready? The truth is that Google actually does this all the time, and usually these changes have but small effects on your sites’ rank, unless of course, your site commits a ‘Google crime’ like keyword stuffing, paying for inbound links, or any other fraud technique.

When Google changes dramatically, we all have to be ready, and have our SEO as efficient as possible in order to reduce the damages or maximize the positives. Google has recently declared that for the past several months, a large body of their staff have been assigned to work on a secret project which practically is a next-generation structure for Google’s web search.
It’s the stepping stone in a process that will enable us to blow the balloon even further!, increasing speed, accuracy, comprehensiveness and other essential factors. The new infrastructure rests under the roof of Google’s search engine, meaning that most users won’t come across a difference in search results. But web developers and power searchers may notice a few changes.
